We arrived in goa from aurangabad on the train, we caught the 06.00 from aurangabad to manmad jn there we waited till 12.15 for the delayed goa express which comes all the way from delhi we had 3ac sleeper beds which are okay apart from no curtains, on the train we met a nice canadian girl called Hailey from vancouver which was great because molly took an instant shine to her we chatted and played games which made the time go so quick .on this train there was so many people selling food and drinks every 5 mins ,we eventually slept about 21.30 till about 08.00 even though the seller’s are at it again about 06.00
We arrived in madgoan station 4 hours late from there to patnem you can get private taxi for about 1200 rupees or do what we did and get tuk tuk to bus station then bus to cancoan and then tuk tuk to patnem we shared with Hailey and this cost us about 300 rupee so we had a meal with money saved
Our beach hut on patnem beach was great I booked thru beach hut booking.com and had to pay via PayPal as it was 100%up fro t as it was xmas but it meant we didn’t need to take cash out
the huts at seafront cafe are great we had a hut with a fan very simple but so clean
Eating and drinking in goa has been the cheapest so far on our trip nearly 50% cheaper and by far the best food
We decided to just chill in goa as we have been so busy since arriving in india and looking forward to topping up our tans and catching up on our blog
Christmas morning and santa came he got molly,s letter and ate the cookies we left and also made a mess of our balcony but molly was so happy as Christmas eve she wrote a letter to santa under candle light and was worried he would not know we were not home but all was good she got a kinder box and rubber ring for the santana she was so excited bless her ,and he brought exactly what she wanted
we moved after christmas just further up the beach to mickeys naughty corner and had a cheap hut no mosquito net but we had are own, molly and jo made a nice decoration for our hut from shells and anything they could find
Our new hut was nearer to palolem beach about a 15 minute walk over the rocks and along sea front past some fishing village as we were going at sunset we took our torches just in case and we were glad we did as the paths were narrow and bumpy and a bit spooky but great views at a place called on the rocks bar
Molly enjoyed the waves here
